The
Conservation for the Oceans Foundation is pleased
to announce its first annual series of awards
for Heroes of Conservation in the categories of
“Earth”, “Water”, and
“Climate”. This award is presented
annually to those who have excelled in the areas
of conservation, field research, and community
outreach. Our award recipients share a common
focus on the global challenges affecting the future
sustainability of our natural resources as well
as the importance of educating and inspiring the
community, at all levels of society, about how
our combined efforts can help combat these environmental
issues. It is our hope that this award will help
raise awareness about those who are making a significant
contribution towards the improvement of conservation
projects around the world.
